Ever since I upgraded MSE (When I did, there was a popup telling me it hadn't been certified for XP) I have had to do system restore because it wouldn't update, and would not allow me to update Windows. Also, since installing a new version of CCleaner and popping in an H&R Block CD (though not installed) Google Chrome suddenly appeared as installed. One day later, when I opened IE8, it said it was not my default browser. Turns out the default was trying to read links as if they were programs to open. These things are happening sequentially, not all at once. I am beginning to lose faith in MSE as a viable security program. Is anyone else having these issues?1 person got this answerI do too
